Diponegoro University as a State University with Legal Entity (PTN-BH) is not only committed to producing academically excellent graduates but also to shaping strong character and identity as a tangible contribution to the nation. Diponegoro University Faculty of Law (FH Undip), as one of the oldest and most prominent law faculties in Indonesia, plays an important role in shaping law graduates who are not only competent in legal science but also resilient in facing global challenges. To achieve this vision, FH Undip has formulated a set of graduate competency standards known as “The Seven Star.”
The Seven Star graduate profile represents a combination of hard skills and soft skills that reflect the integrity, intellectual capacity, and leadership qualities of FH Undip graduates. The seven stars consist of:
Law Policy Maker: Able to formulate legal policies that are responsive to societal needs and stakeholders’ interests.
Law Problem Solver: Capable of resolving legal issues professionally, both through litigation and non-litigation approaches.
Negotiator: Skilled in conducting effective and strategic negotiations to resolve conflicts or reach agreements.
Entrepreneur: Creative, independent, and equipped with managerial and innovative skills to create business opportunities in the legal field.
Communicator: Proficient in delivering ideas and arguments clearly, persuasively, and within the proper legal context.
Professional: Practicing law with high integrity, grounded in ethics, and oriented toward achievement and excellence.
Leader: Possessing strong leadership qualities, able to inspire, foster collaboration, and pioneer positive change in society.

The alumni of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, have made significant contributions across various sectors of national development. FH Undip graduates are not only active in academic spheres but also play strategic roles in government bureaucracy, the prosecution service, the judiciary, advocacy, business, as well as in notarial and entrepreneurial fields.
Many of them have achieved remarkable accomplishments and have been entrusted with important responsibilities at both the national and international levels. This success serves as strong evidence that legal education at the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, not only produces competent legal scholars but also leaders and agents of change within society.
