Choose Your Program

Start your fascinating journey at Universitas Diponegoro by choosing the study program you are interested in. Each study program offers a wide range of knowledge to help you pursue your dream career. To find the program that best suits your interests, you can visit the webpage of each study program for more detailed information.

Go to the official website of Universitas Diponegoro. This page lists eleven faculties and two schools at Universitas Diponegoro. You can browse each faculty’s website to find your desired study program.

Review Entry Requirements

a. General Requirements
After deciding on the Study Program, candidates must prepare the required documents. In general, the Admission Office only assesses applications that meet the following qualifications:

  1. Graduate from a nationally accredited high school; or
  2. Graduate from an International Diploma Program (3 years); or
  3. Pass international education qualifications equivalent to any of the above.

b. Language Requirements
Universitas Diponegoro has International Undergraduate Programs (IUP) taught in English, while some undergraduate programs are delivered in Bahasa Indonesia (Regular Program). Regardless of the study program, applicants must demonstrate English proficiency with a minimum score of TOEFL 500 (PBT), 173 (CBT), 60 (iBT), or IELTS 5.5.

Applicants who wish to study in the Regular Program must also obtain a BIPA Level 3 Certificate (Indonesian Language Preparatory Class for Non-Native Speakers).

c. Required Documents Checklist
To apply for the Undergraduate Programs at Universitas Diponegoro, candidates must submit the following documents:

  1. High School Diploma/Certificate of Graduation or equivalent
  2. Academic Transcript
  3. Passport
  4. TOEFL/IELTS Certificate
  5. Recent Photograph
  6. BIPA/UKBI (Indonesian Language Proficiency Certificate); see the details at

    This document is required for applicants who wish to study in the Regular Undergraduate Program.

Submit Your Application

Universitas Diponegoro requires candidates who meet all qualifications to apply online. The application process is as follows:

a. Create an Account
You are required to fill out the online form at
https://admission.undip.ac.id/.
Please be informed that all correspondence will be conducted via email. Therefore, you must use an active email address when creating your account.

b. Complete Your Application
After creating an account, you are required to choose your Study Program and upload the required documents, including your High School Diploma/Certificate of Graduation (or equivalent), Academic Transcript, Valid Passport, and Certificate of Language Proficiency. All documents must be in PDF format and no larger than 1000 KB each. Please indicate your scholarship status by selecting the appropriate scholarship scheme from the drop-down menu.

c. Submit Your Application
Please review your application before clicking the Submit button. Once all required documents have been uploaded, click the Submit button to complete your application. Universitas Diponegoro does not charge an application fee.

Respond to Your Acceptance

If you are accepted to Universitas Diponegoro, congratulations! Your Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will be automatically generated in your application account and sent to your registered email address.

If you accept the offer and wish to study in the stated admission period, please notify us by email at io@live.undip.ac.id to confirm your enrollment. If you wish to postpone your enrollment, please let us know by email.

The Letter of Acceptance is valid for two (2) admission periods.

Getting Ready to Universitas Diponegoro

a. Applying for a Student Visa
Indonesia provides a Student Visa for international students. To obtain an Indonesian Student Visa, please visit

or contact the Diponegoro International Office for further assistance.

b. Preparing to Move to Semarang City
You can prepare for your move to Semarang City by learning about the city’s climate, food, transportation, medical centers, and cross-cultural information. You may also be required to obtain international health insurance.

c. Finding Accommodation
Before you move, please consider the type of accommodation you prefer. In Semarang City, you can choose from several accommodation options, including hotels, apartments, rental rooms, and the university’s student dormitory.

d. Airport Pick-up
The Diponegoro International Office provides an airport pick-up service for international students. If you wish to use this service, please make your reservation at least one (1) week prior to your arrival.
